Job Vacancy: Policy and Networks Officer £22,000 - £25,000 (depending on experience)
YOUTH AT RISK UK
Is a groundbreaking charity dedicated to making a positive and lasting change to the lives of young people who are at risk of poor outcomes.
The organisation has grown rapidly over the last two years and has recently received part of the Youth Sector Development Fund to roll out its transformational programmes to 10 local authorities. The programmes work on several levels; with volunteer coaches (from all aspects of the community), youth professionals and the young people themselves.
Part of this new funding is also an opportunity for Youth at Risk to develop the way it interacts with the external environment. Improving how it responds to policy as well as increasing its networks with key stakeholders. This is why the new post; Policy and Networks Officer has been created.
Youth at Risk are looking for a lively team player who can bring new ideas to the table. Someone who has an innovative approach to online networking, will seek opportunities to raise the organisations profile and who has a curious nature and is determined to keep their finger on the pulse in the policy world.
We accept a CV and a two page personal statement.
The closing date is the 23rd July, interviews are being held on the 3rd August.
Priority will be given to those with project management experience and a background in policy.
