Event Description

The "Coming Year in Parliament" conference is recognised as the premiere event for those wishing to gain an insight into the political year ahead and the Government's legislative programme and priorities.

This year, the event is being held on the day after the Queen's speech. You can hear from key experts, including ministers and select committee chairmen, on themes likely to affect the UK over the coming year. You can also take part in debate and discussion with policy makers in a variety of breakout sessions centred around specific policy areas.

A new session focuses specifically on the political year ahead beyond the legislative programme and you will have the opportunity to communicate your views directly to the speakers through interactive voting workshops.

Confirmed Speakers include:

From Parliament and politics:

- Rt Hon Harriet Harman MP
- Rt Hon Theresa May MP
- Simon Hughes MP
- and Tom Brake MP, Damian Green MP, Rt Hon David Davis MP, Bill Rammell MP, Barry Sheerman MP, Phil Willis MP
