Influencing Policy, Driving Change

Jointly organised by Regional Action West Midlands (RAWM) and the NCVO Policy Forum, this free one-day regional conference will help ensure your policy work brings about real change.

The day will be a great opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from across the region and hear from the experts on a range of topics, from how to effectively engage with parliamentary procedures to the policy implications of the economic downturn.

You will also have plenty of opportunities to learn from other delegates in a choice of practical workshops, including:

- The Golden Rules of Campaigning
- Gathering information and evidence to inform your policy and campaigning
- Influencing policy from an equalities and human rights perspective
- Health and patient and public involvement agenda
- How to engage with local, regional and sub-regional decision-making structures
